“Britain is either in a single market or it is not. The Government has created this situation by raising tobacco taxation to exorbitant levels. It is now wasting taxpayers’ money on additional Customs officials who are being encouraged to take these draconian measures. People are only taking advantage of the single market, but they are being treated like criminals by Customs.”
