;I’ve been staggered at the way parents of young children develop quite unrealistic expectations, as they haven’t had the chance to see the reality in action. Today, it is not unusual for the first baby you hold to be your own. I find it quite scary that parents often have only minimal hands-on experience before they have their own children.
