This is Franklin. Sarah and I first saw him going up the on ramp to the 5 Wednesday evening. We could not stop for him. Then today around 10 a.m. I saw him going down the Quince Street ramp to the 163. I could not stop for him. Then about 40 minutes later he comes ambling down the sidewalk toward us on Upas Street at Roosevelt Middle School! We petted him, tried to water him with help from another parent, and determined he had no collar or tags. He’s a sweet poochie. Perhaps a rottweiler and beagle mix. We took him to the Humane Society where he was identified and is getting care for a lame leg. The address associated with his chip is in North Park, so spread the word. Good luck, Franklin!
