While the crime is appalling, this photo is not “chilling.” Nor are those in the newsstand version. They’re the newspaper equivalent of a television reporter’s standup shot in front of a building in which a meeting was held hours ago, but which at the time of the live shot is dark, shuttered and lifeless. Not much of an exclusive.
